  • Report: 74% of CBD Users Feel Better After Using the Products

We undertook a national customer survey of over 10,000 respondents to understand how consumers are researching, purchasing, and using CBD products to better enable our CBD clients to grow their brands. The results of the report are now in, and they might surprise you.

CBD usage is becoming more and more common, and those who are active users of CBD products report tremendous benefits. In fact, 74% of CBD users say their levels of stress, anxiety, or pain have decreased since they started consuming CBD.

And that’s only the beginning. The survey covers everything: insight into how active users are purchasing and using CBD, a look at consumers’ understanding of the health benefits and types of products available, responses from those who haven’t tried CBD themselves but are curious, and more.

For those brands operating in the CBD space, there’s a lot for you to learn about how to market to this growing population of CBD enthusiasts. Here are some of the statistics that might surprise you.

CBD Usage Might Be More Frequent Than You Think

Among those we surveyed who were active CBD users, 37% reported using some form of CBD products daily. Not only that, but regular users often had a number of CBD products in their weekly rotation. A full 64% of active user respondents indicated that they used two or more CBD products each week.

CBD Consumers Are Fiercely Brand-Loyal

Once CBD users find a brand they like, they tend to stick to it. In our survey, we found that 66% of users buy the same brand every time. This means that for brands looking to break into the space, there’s a huge benefit to getting your marketing material out to consumers in the research phase. Once they’ve committed to another brand’s products, it will be harder for you to win them over.

Even Non-Users Are Curious

For those respondents who have yet to try CBD themselves, there was still a high level of acceptance of the product and interest in trying it out. Sixty-four percent said they’d consider using CBD if a condition arose that it could help with, and 43% of all non-users would consider using CBD.

If these statistics have piqued your interest, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Our survey is full of additional insights into the specific opportunity audiences and what you can do to get your products in front of the right people at the right time.
